A woman was seriously injured, hit by a car in Sydney’s inner west.
The pedestrian, a 24-year-old woman, was hit just before 10pm on Liverpool Road near Homebush Road in Strathfield.
Paramedics treated the woman with head and abdominal injuries.

She was taken to RPA Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The driver, a 30-year-old man, was taken to Concord Hospital for mandatory tests.
The cause of the crash is still unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
Photos obtained by 7NEWS from the scene show the Mazda heavily damaged and debris strewn across the road.
