Victoria Police are searching for registered sex offender Paul Bowen, who is currently missing after failing to provide his personal details to officers.
The 60-year-old is known to frequent the Ballarat, Sebastopol, Colac and Melton areas as well as South Australia.
Police have released pictures and details of him, appealing to the public to be vigilant.
Bowen is described as 175cm tall with a medium build, receding gray hair in a ponytail, a close-cropped gray beard with a moustache, blue eyes and a fair and ruddy complexion.
He is believed to have been driving a white 2005 Ford Falcon station wagon. with registration TWX 574.
Anyone who sees him or his car is urged to stay away from him and contact Tripe-Zero immediately.
